Just you, just me, just the practice.
Private sessions are 60 minutes of trauma-informed yoga, breathwork, and somatic practice — shaped around exactly what your body and nervous system are asking for that day.
The practice is invitational. You choose what feels available. If a pose doesn't land, we skip it. If you need to stop, we stop. If you need to talk, we talk. There is no script here that's more important than you are.
Movement is medicine. Stillness opens pathways. That's the work.
Private 1:1
What we'll do together
Every session is built around you, but most include some combination of:
- A short check-in — what your body has been holding, what you'd like to move toward
- Breathwork to regulate the nervous system
- Movement, paced to your body — vinyasa, restorative, somatic, or a blend
- Stillness and integration — the part most studios skip
- Time to land before you go back to your day
Who this is for
- Survivors of sexual trauma, complex PTSD, or anxiety
- People in addiction recovery
- Beginners who'd rather start without a room full of people
- Experienced practitioners looking for depth, not performance
- Anyone with a body that asks for slower, quieter, more careful
Sliding scale
If you're a survivor of sexual trauma or someone in active addiction recovery, the standard rate may not be what's right for you right now. Email me. We'll find a number that works. No questions asked.
hello@renude.usCommon questions
What does a private session look like?
A 60-minute one-on-one practice with me. We move through breath, movement, and stillness in whatever sequence the day calls for. Trauma-informed throughout. No goals beyond showing up. Physical assists offered at your discretion.
How much does a private session cost?
$95 per hour. Sliding scale is available for survivors — reach out and we'll find a rate that works.
Do you work with absolute beginners?
Yes. Most people who book private sessions are beginning, or beginning again. The practice doesn't require anything you don't already have.
What if I cry, shake, or have a memory surface mid-session?
We pause. We breathe. There is no rush to keep going. Options are always offered, never demanded. If something needs more than the practice can hold, I'll help you find the right resource — yoga sits alongside therapy, it doesn't replace it. Clinicians can refer here.
Will you touch me or give physical adjustments?
No, unless you specifically ask. Trauma-informed practice means hands-off by default. Cues are verbal and invitational.
Where do private sessions take place?
In-person at Vive (1550 Henderson Ave, in San Marco), outdoor at Lift Ev'ry Voice and Sing Park or RAM, online via secure video, or mobile to your home or office.
Can I book with a partner or a friend?
Yes. Two-person sessions are at the private rate. More than two becomes a custom group session.
How often should I come?
Whatever cadence your nervous system asks for. Some clients come weekly, some monthly, some as needed. There is no prescription — you decide.
