Breath under the sky.
Outdoor sessions in two of Jacksonville's most loved public spaces — Lift Ev'ry Voice and Sing Park on the Northbank Riverwalk, and Riverside Arts Market under the Fuller Warren Bridge.
There's something the nervous system already knows about practicing outside. The ventral vagal state — the one we want, the one that says safe — settles in more easily when you can feel air on your skin and hear water move. That's not metaphor. That's polyvagal-informed practice.
Movement is medicine. Stillness opens pathways. That's the work.
Where we practice
Two main parks, each with its own rhythm. Tell me which works for you.
Northbank · Downtown
Lift Ev'ry Voice and Sing Park
On the Northbank Riverwalk in downtown Jacksonville. The park honors the song written by Jacksonville natives James Weldon Johnson and J. Rosamond Johnson. Quiet weekday mornings work best for private sessions; Saturday afternoons are good for community groups. Street parking along the riverwalk.
Riverside · Fuller Warren Bridge
Riverside Arts Market (RAM)
Under the Fuller Warren Bridge in Riverside. RAM is bigger and busier — best for groups and community classes. Private sessions schedule around the Saturday market. Paid parking on-site, plus surrounding street parking.
Sliding scale
If you're a survivor of sexual trauma or someone in active addiction recovery, the standard rate may not be what's right for you right now. Email me. We'll find a number that works. No questions asked.
hello@renude.usCommon questions
Where in Jacksonville do you teach outdoor sessions?
Two main locations: Lift Ev'ry Voice and Sing Park on the Northbank Riverwalk downtown, and Riverside Arts Market under the Fuller Warren Bridge. Other parks possible by request.
What happens if it rains?
We reschedule, move online, or relocate indoors to Vive — your choice. Florida weather is part of the practice. No-charge reschedules within 24 hours of weather cancellations.
Is outdoor yoga private enough for survivors?
Yes, with planning. Quiet weekday mornings at Lift Ev'ry Voice and Sing Park are nearly empty. RAM is busier — better for groups than private sessions. We can also choose less-trafficked corners or earlier times. Privacy is a real concern, not a marketing checkbox. More on survivor-aware practice.
What should I wear and bring?
Comfortable layers, sunscreen, water. Bring your own mat or towel. In hot months we start earlier; in cooler months we add a sweatshirt. I'll text you what to expect for the day.
Is there parking?
Yes at both locations. Lift Ev'ry Voice and Sing Park has street parking along the Northbank Riverwalk. RAM has a paid lot plus surrounding street parking, busier on Saturday market days.
Can a group book an outdoor session?
Yes — custom group sessions outdoors are $35 per person, 6–20 people. Especially good for community events, recovery houses, or organizations wanting a moving-meditation experience by the water.
How much does an outdoor private session cost?
$70 per hour, same as indoor private sessions. Sliding scale available for survivors.
What about heat, bugs, and Florida summer?
Summer outdoor sessions are typically 7–8am to beat heat and humidity. Bug spray helps. If conditions are unsafe we move online or to Vive — your body's comfort is part of the practice, not something to push through.
